Volunteer

There are a variety of ways you can volunteer to help us share information with Davis County residents.

Help out at our booth
At community events, we'll set up a booth to share information about voter registration, our Vote411.org website and recruit new members. Please email us to suggest other booth sites and volunteer to help us staff the events.

Be a part of the Legislative Action Corps
The state league's Legislative Action Corps meets weekly during the legislative session, and will continue to meet each month from May to November for interim sessions. Active league members are invited to attend. For more information, email the state league.

Youth outreach
LWV Davis members work with colleges and high schools in Davis County to register and inform students and encourage them to participate in the democratic process. Email us if you’re interested.

Serve on a city or county board/commission
Fill a position on city or county boards or commissions throughout Davis County. These are non-elected, volunteer positions. Email us for more information.

Join the Observer Corps
Open fields and agricultural land in Davis County are fast converting into retail and housing sites. Once your city has approved a zoning change in your neighborhood, it’s too late to protest. Attend your city council, planning commission, school board or county commission meetings and learn how local government works. Join the Observer Corps to monitor meetings in person or online and share key issues with fellow league members. We will help you get started. Email us to find out more.
