2026 election

This election year is a consequential one; we’ll be choosing our congressional representative along with state, county, legislative and school board officials. Here are some resources and key dates to help you navigate the elections.
Make sure you’re registered to vote
Use the league’s Vote411.org website to check your voting status and see what’s on your ballot. You can also check the Davis County elections site for additional information.
Attend your neighborhood caucus
At your caucus, you will choose a delegate to represent your precinct at county and state conventions. The county conventions are where many of the primary election candidates are chosen.
This year, most of the party caucuses will take place on March 17. You can get more information on the location of each party’s caucuses at:
- Republican Party
- Democratic Party (all Davis County caucuses will be at Farmington Junior High, 150 S. 200 West)
- Forward Party
- Constitution Party
- Progressive Party
Vote in the primary election on June 23
This will help determine the candidates who will appear on the general election ballot. If the only candidates for an office are from a single political party, then the primary will likely determine the overall winner.
Vote in the general election on Nov. 3
Your vote will determine which people hold county, school, state and national offices for the next two to four years. Make sure your voice is heard by casting your ballot!
